Terms of Use

1. Scope

These terms of use govern the use of the "CALEFY" app and its companion website (calefy.app), operated by CALEFY LLC, 1209 Mountain Road PL NE, STE N, Albuquerque, NM 87110, USA (see Imprint).

2. Description of the service

CALEFY is a social calendar that lets users create and share events with groups of friends, and follow announcements from creators, brands and restaurants. [PLACEHOLDER – add detail on any paid features, if applicable]

3. Registration and user account

Using the app requires a user account. You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account, unless the misuse is not attributable to you.

4. User obligations

Users agree not to distribute unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate content through the app, and not to infringe the rights of third parties (including copyright, trademark, and personality rights).

5. Third-party content

CALEFY may display events, announcements and posts from creators, brands and restaurants. Responsibility for the accuracy of that content lies solely with the publishing third party.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the app available without interruption, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, particularly during maintenance, technical faults, or events beyond our control.

7. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and under applicable product liability law. For ordinary negligence, we are liable only for breach of a material contractual obligation, and limited to foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Liability is otherwise excluded, to the extent permitted by law.

8. Termination and suspension

You may delete your account at any time via the app's settings. We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts in case of serious or repeated violations of these terms.

9. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms with effect for the future where there is a valid reason to do so. We will notify you of material changes via the app or by email.
